The TWIN-CRAFT training program has been designed to redefine the professional profile of the artisan by strategically integrating advanced technological, digital, and entrepreneurial skills.
This free course specifically aims to train Digital Artisans capable of blending traditional technical knowledge with the innovations characteristic of the Industry 5.0 landscape. Acquiring these skills is intended to give participants a significant competitive advantage in the job market, expanding career opportunities and promoting innovation in the artisan sector.
Curriculum Structure and Organization
The training program has a total duration of 990 hours, functionally divided to ensure comprehensive and applied learning:
- 396 hours of company internship, an essential practical experience for applying acquired knowledge in a real professional context.
- Theoretical classroom lessons for in-depth understanding of fundamental concepts.
- Practical laboratory exercises for developing operational skills.
- Personalized support service, aimed at fostering participants’ professional growth and job placement.
The expected study commitment is approximately 4-8 hours daily, with activities starting in September 2025.
Locations and Training Context
Training activities will take place at two excellent locations:
- Sesto Fiorentino: At the Liceo Artistico (Art High School).
- Calenzano: At the NOTLAB Laboratory, promoted by the Design Campus of DIDA – Department of Architecture, University of Florence.
