The Region of Tuscany presents the ‘STEP Strategic Innovation’ call for proposals, an initiative aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises and promoting strategic autonomy in key technology sectors.
Who can participate
The call for proposals is specifically aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that wish to launch innovation projects for their own development.
What are the objectives
The main objective is to support the competitiveness of the regional production system by encouraging investment in innovation and research.
Available funds and subsidies
A non-repayable grant has been allocated, the amount of which varies according to the type of investment and the size of the enterprise.
The initial allocation is €14,732,813.00 for 2027, with a subsequent addition that will bring the total to €27,000,000.00.
How to apply
Applications can be submitted and managed through the Sviluppo Toscana SpA portal. The selection procedure will be automatic on a first-come, first-served basis, which means that applications will be evaluated in chronological order of arrival.
