The Centro Sperimentale del Mobile (CSM), a training agency accredited by the Region of Tuscany, together with the University of Siena, the ‘Sallustio Bandini’ Higher Education Institute, and Panurania SpA, have launched the project “AMMINISTRO – Accounting and Financial Statement Techniques’, a free Higher Technical Education and Training (I.F.T.S.) course.
The initiative is entirely free of charge, as it is funded by the regional ESF+ program for the period 2021-2027 and is part of Giovanisì, the Tuscany Region’s project for the independence of young people.
Objectives and professional profile
The course aims to develop skills in response to the professional needs of the local service sector. The specialization is in Economic and Financial Administration Techniques.
The professional profile of the graduate, i.e., the accounting and budget formulation technician, will contribute significantly to innovation in the administrative field. The educational path integrates knowledge of the production and commercial supply chain with solid administrative skills, placing the digitization of processes and activities at the centre of the training. Skills in industrial control and accounting techniques are also developed.
The qualification awarded corresponds to European level IV.
Course structure and duration
The training course has a total duration of 990 hours, including 396 hours of internship in local companies. The teaching activity is organized into theoretical lessons, laboratory exercises, internships, and accompanying activities.
The subject areas include:
- The company system and organizational processes;
- Civil and tax law;
- The administrative system and accounting techniques (including supplier/customer records and VAT);
- Financial statements, personnel administration, and financial statement analysis techniques;
- Management software, office automation, and business intelligence;
- Costing, budgeting, and economic and financial indicator analysis techniques;
- Business English.
The course takes place at the Pitagora Training Center in Colle di Val d’Elsa (SI), with a daily commitment of approximately 4-8 hours. The course is scheduled to start in January 2026.
Course participants and registration
The project is aimed at 20 unemployed, unoccupied, or employed students. Entry requirements include possession of a professional technical diploma, upper secondary school diploma, or admission to the fifth year of high school. Foreign applicants must demonstrate a basic knowledge of Italian (minimum level B1).
Enrollment applications, which can be downloaded from the website, must be accompanied by:
- A photocopy of a valid identity document;
- Residence permit in the case of non-EU foreigners;
- Curriculum vitae in European format.
The documentation must be submitted by December 30, 2025, by email, post, or in person at the headquarters of the Centro Sperimentale del Mobile in Poggibonsi.
Selection and final certification
If the number of applications exceeds the number of places available, a selection process will be carried out, which includes:
- A written test with multiple-choice questions on English language (30% of the score) and general knowledge (70% of the score);
- A motivational interview.
The final score is determined 50% by the written tests and 50% by the interview. The date scheduled for the selection process is January 9, 2026. The project reserves 40% of places for women.
Participants who have attended at least 70% of the total hours and 50% of the internship hours, passing the intermediate tests, will be admitted to the final exam.
Passing the final exam will lead to the award of the Higher Technical Specialization Certificate and the Professional Qualification Certificate of the Region of Tuscany.
Obtaining this certificate also entitles the holder to 9 credits within the Degree Course in Economics and Business at the University of Siena.
