The project entitled ‘DANTE: Digital Solutions for a Healthy, Active and Smart Life’ was submitted as part of the ‘European Digital Innovation Hubs (DIGITAL-2021-EDIH-01)’ call for proposals by the SMILE ‘Smart Living Technologies’ National Technology Cluster, acting as project coordinator.
Project duration and budget
The project will run for 36 months from 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2025.
The total budget is €5,673,119.67. Dante is funded by the European Commission and the Ministry of Economic Development (MISE).
Why Dante?
DANTE is an innovative project in that it focuses on supporting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), public sector organisations, and professionals working in the areas of healthy and active ageing, Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), and smart environments.
The aim is to ensure that these actors are able to respond to current digital challenges. To further promote the digital transformation of the European economy, the Digital Transformation Accelerator (DTA) will effectively and efficiently support the Network of Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs).
